Little Penguin Eudyptula minor IUCN : Least Concern
The smallest of all the penguins, the Little penguin stands just over a foot tall. It is native to Australia and New Zealand. It is most common on the surrounding islands with no predators and little human disturbance. Although they have the ability to dive as deep as 60 meters(196 feet) most dives occur at between 10 and 30 meters (33 and 98 feet).
