Brown-throated sloth Bradypus variegatus
Adapted for life in the trees the Brown-throated sloth is found from Honduras south to Argentina.The long held belief that they eat only leaves of the Cecropia tree is not true. The leave of over seventy species of trees have been found in their guts. However individuals will eat only a limited number of trees found in its home range.
