Anserifomes- Waterfowl
Anserifomes is the oder of birds that contain ducks, geese and screamers. The order is characterized by adaptations to life on the water. These adaptations include webbed feet and an oil gland to waterproof the feathers. The 150 species of Anseriformes are divided into three families : Anatidae ( Ducks and Geese) , Anhimidae ( Screamers) and Anseranidae which is composed of only the one species the Magpie Goose.
