Coraciiformes- Hornbills, Hoopoes, Rollers, Kingfishers and Motmots
Coraciiformes is a diverse order of birds with a mostly tropical range. Thes birds can be found in both savannah and rain forest habitats. Although the kingfishers are the exceptions living in temperate areas. There is much debate over the exact taxonomy of this order. There is growing evidence that the ground hornbills , hornbills, hoopoes and wood hoopoes belong to a separate order. The ten famlies are divided into four suborders and contain over 200 species.
