Giraffidae

The family Giraffidae consists of only two species the giraffe and the okapi. Both species have a elongated neck a body sloping from the shoulders down to the hindquarters, a long prehensile tongue and horns covered in skin called ossicones. The dental formula is 0.0.3.3/3.1.3.3
